Hi I would like to share my feedback from using Toad with CDH 5.5.
First thing, it's super easy to get configured, the tool connects to the Clouder Manager and gets all the necessary details - great work.
My cluster is in High Available mode, with Kerberos and LDAP enabled,
This is a issue, because the only service what is working is a HDFS.
I tried to get working the Impala SQL connection, but since there is no LDAP options in the configuration it does not work. So I just disabled LDAP for a while, to test whether it works with kerberos.
I doesnt. And the only information what I get is this:

A problem has occured. No further information.
I think the kerberos is not the issue, becuase I exported the keytab and the HDFS browsing is working fine.
Logging into the impala via shell works.
Any hints?
