I'm fairly new to Toad for hadoop, so forgive me if the answer is obvious. When configuring an ecosystem manually for HDP 2.3.4.0 on Windows I can get everything working but Hive. I suspect it has something to do with authentication, but can't figure out how to configure it for our setup.
I have HDP 2.3.4 for Windows running, but have not configured kerberos. Right now, i am running everything as a local windows account.
