The new Toad for Hadoop v1.5.3 is now available for both Windows and OSx. This drop contains new features and enhancements:
- SSL support for Impala, Oozie, ResourceManager and History server Web UI
- Support for Cloudera Distribution Hadoop 5.8 and Ambari Hortonworks Data Platform 2.5 incl Automatic Detection mode
- Support for Impala without Hive service configured
- Transfer Enhancements:
- Transfer Outline now remembers Table settings for all Schemas
- Support for Incremental Import mode
- Specification of datatypes during Import to Hive
- New right-click menu option Refresh Schema for RDBMS connections
- New KeepAlive option for Hadoop clusters
- Minor application design tweaks and improvements
